Privacy Policy

When you use Bemis we collect the following data:

• Email address (account registration)
• Phone number (OTP verification)
• Name and profile details
• Device and charging station identifiers
• Charging session and transaction history (OCPP records)
• Vehicle and address details (as you add them)
• Auth tokens (stored locally on the device)

To connect to the charging hardware over Bluetooth, the operating system requires location permission. This permission is used only to scan for nearby devices. We do not record, store or share your location with third parties.

We use your data to create and verify your account, connect to charging stations, start and stop charging, show live meter values, run scheduled charging and keep the app secure. We do not sell your data to third parties for advertising.

The app connects to a backend operated by MotiveX (using OCPP, and SignalR for real time updates) to communicate with your charging stations. The app contains no third party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

Your account and charging data are stored on the backend infrastructure that provides the service. We keep your data only as long as it is needed to provide the service and to meet legal obligations.

Bemis is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect data from a child under 13, or under the minimum age that applies in your country.

You can access, correct or delete the data tied to your account. You can delete your account from the app or by writing to us. See the Delete Account page for details.
